However, its technical features are definitely outstanding, as well, and include very interesting innovations, starting from the octagonal shape, chosen for the purpose of an easier placement of the chassis on the test bench for a more accurate geometry checking.
Inside, the discs hold magnets enabling easy placing of the gauge to read measurements. The discs are made of aluminium alloy and are then anodized blue.
